Who is The Dog Dude?

My name is Mike Williams and I am the Dog Dude. I have always loved the company of dogs, but I must admit I was never fond of cleaning up after them, so it’s rather ironic that I started scooping poop for a living. My experience with scooping came largely from our two beautiful Great Danes, the late Samantha and Max, our forever loyal and greatly missed “children”. For the past 10 years I worked in the Public Works field, mainly in the wastewater department. My wife and I were always trying to find a unique business to start. We did some research and found the pooper- scooper trade. We loved the idea immediately, but starting your own business can be scary and it seemed the time was never right. So, in the fall of 2004, I lost my full time job. We saw this as a perfect opportunity to begin our scooper business and here we are.
